Director of Sales - EMEA (UK-based)

Job Description:

This position reports into the VP of Worldwide Sales and is the senior sales management position for EMEA. Responsible for the development and implementation of company's sales and marketing strategy for EMEA including all Tier 1 OEM support, channel, end user and regional OEM business.

Job Responsibilities:

Channel strategy and implementation
End User & Govt penetration
Support of Tier 1 system OEM's at the Geo level
Marketing programs
Sales and tech training
Exec relationships
Key reseller relationships
Regional OEM sales
Input to marketing team on geo requirements
Revenue and Org growth plan
International legal, HR, import/export requirements
Budget management

Requirements:

Minimum 5 - 10 years sales mgmt experience
OEM, channel and end user experience and executive relationships
Hardware knowledge of servers, storage, I/O, Ethernet, switches, HBA's
Software knowledge of major OS's, virtualization, enterprise apps
Experience managing technical team/support and providing input and direction on regional marketing plans
Hands on manager, directly involved in all aspects of business
UK based

Pluses:

Multi-lingual (especially French and German)
Combination of start up and large company experience
Experience building a customer base and organization from scratch
Previous experience working for and reporting into US based mgmt team
