ASIC Verification Engineer
The successful candidate for this position will be building verification environments for Neterion's next generation Ethernet adapter. Neterion uses the latest in verification techniques, and we are seeking candidates that will bring their creativity to improving the verification flow further.
Job Requirements:
 |
Minimum 4 years of experience with Verilog Simulators & Waveform Debugging tools (esp., Synopsys VCS) |
 |
Working knowledge of Verilog/VHDL RTL (at least 4 yrs of experience) |
 |
Minimum 2 years of experience with Vera, 'e', or object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C++) |
 |
Minimum 1 year of experience with constrained random, coverage-based verification methodology |
 |
Working knowledge of Unix based development platforms |
 |
Excellent oral and written English communication skills |
The following experience is highly desirable:
 |
Familiarity with use of Hardware assertions (e.g., SystemVerilog Assertions) and Assertion Based Verification |
 |
Experience with any of the following protocols: PCI, PCI-X, PCI-Express, and Ethernet (esp., 10Gbps Ethernet) |
 |
Experience with RVM, VMM, AVM or other verification development frameworks |
 |
Experience with emulation based verification |
 |
Experience in scripting languages (e.g., C-Shell, Perl, Python, Tcl) |

Senior Hardware Designer

The position of Senior Hardware Engineer reports to the VP of Hardware Development and will interface heavily with the Hardware Engineering and Product Engineering teams.
Job Responsibilities:
 |
Successful candidate will participate in the development of Neterion's 10GbE Network Adapter Cards. |
 |
Will perform schematic capture; participate in design and layout reviews and will also be responsible for overseeing layout |
 |
Prepare hardware test plans. Responsible for lab testing and characterization. |
 |
Participate in NPI process improvements. |
 |
Support product and component qualification testing. |
 |
Provide product introduction support to Product Engineering and Operations through the NPI cycle. |
Job Requirements:
 |
Electrical Engineering Degree. |
 |
>8 years of hardware design experience. End-to-end experience in product development cycle including manufacturing support. |
 |
Strong leadership and communication skills. Seasoned, self starter with good communication skills and excellent multitasking abilities. Ability to effectively work in a geographically dispersed team environment. |
 |
Experience with ERP systems. |
 |
Ability to work and take decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic design and lab environment. |
 |
Experience working with high speed interface technologies including: XFI, PCI-Express, XAUI, DDR Memory interface etc. |
 |
Experience with PCB design flow. Previous experience with the Cadence Board Design tools is an asset. Exposure to ASIC and FPGA development process is desirable. |
 |
Strong hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis skills. |
 |
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows platforms is required. Knowledge of scripting is a desirable asset. |
 |
Knowledge of 10GbE and higher level protocols is an asset. |
