Neterion Appoints High Tech Veteran Todd Oseth as President and CEO
Cupertino, CA — April 29, 2009 — Neterion, Inc., the industry pioneer of I/O Virtualization (IOV) in 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) adapters for server and storage environments, announced that Todd Oseth has been appointed as President and CEO. Oseth most recently served as the CEO of ColdStor Data, a provider of cloud-based archiving products, where he facilitated raising capital for the start-up and identifying the need for low cost archiving solutions.
Oseth's 28 years of high tech experience encompasses all aspects of software and hardware development, marketing, manufacturing and sales in the computing, networking and storage industries. He also has extensive experience working with both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. As the President and CEO of Neterion, Oseth will drive the company to increase its position as industry leader in the I/O Virtualization 10 GbE market and lead Neterion through the next phase of growth and development.

In his prior role as COO of McData Corporation, Oseth oversaw all functional areas of the business and was instrumental in establishing McData as an industry-leading high performance networking company. In 2007, Oseth assisted in the high profile acquisition by Brocade. Oseth also introduced virtualization into McData's network fabric as well as high availability switches.

Before McData Corporation, Oseth served as Vice President of Software Infrastructure for EMC Corporation, responsible for EMC's virtualization products, high availability routing software, replication and midrange software management products. Prior to EMC, Oseth was the Senior Vice President of DataPlay, Inc and the CEO of Accent Software, in addition to serving as Vice President of Sony Information Technology, where he brought the Sony VAIO computer line to market in 1995.
From 1989 to 1995, Oseth was the Vice President of Ramtron International Corporation, the ferroelectric memory leader, and President of Ramtron subsidiary Enhanced Memories. Oseth began his career in the high tech space at Honeywell in 1980, designing a number of different signal processing systems and chips for military applications. Since this time, Oseth has successfully launched a number of companies in the advanced technology arena.
Oseth holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
