Intransa to Showcase Newest Innovations at SNW, Including Preview of 10 GbE IP SAN

San Jose, CA — October 24, 2005 — Intransa, the global innovator of network-centric, IP storage solutions, will showcase its latest technological innovations at Storage Networking World, Florida, including a preview of a 10 GbE IP SAN and the extensibility of its patented StorControlTM Management software to an IBM Blade CenterTM, managing Intransa's newly announced IP2000 Value-Line array. Intransa will also be participating in Microsoft's Storage Partner Pavilion at SNW.

Intransa booth, C28
Intransa and Neterion will be demonstrating real world applications that reflect the business benefits of leveraging 10 GbE technology in an IP SAN infrastructure. Intransa's 10 GbE IP SAN demonstration will feature Xframe Ethernet adapters from Neterion.

"This live demonstration of Intransa's storage controller module executing StorControl software and Neterion's Xframe 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter, clearly demonstrates the readiness of 10 GbE as a vehicle for converging storage and data networks," noted Dave Zabrowski, president & CEO, Neterion. "Enterprise IT managers are now in a position to fully realize the benefits of high performance, IP-based storage solutions rather than installing specialized technologies that require additional training and management skills."

In addition to previewing a 10 GbE SAN, Intransa will also be demonstrating an IBM Blade Center running Intransa StorControl to manage Intransa' newly announced Value-Line product, the Intransa IP2000. This is intended to demonstrate the versatility of StorControl to execute on a bladed architecture and manage an iSCSI target, as well as the practical use of blade servers to host both applications and array controller functionality, all within the same enclosure. Intransa's vision is to not only enable improved storage utilization but the adoption of blades as array processors that lead to improved server utilization; all enabled through Intransa StorControl.

Microsoft's Storage Partner Pavilion, PPV3
Intransa's IP SANs will also be featured in Microsoft's Storage Partner Pavilion, PPV3. Intransa will be demonstrating Microsoft applications such as SQL and an Exchange environment. The Intransa / Microsoft demonstration is further proof that Microsoft's Simple SAN initiative is critical to ensuring easy-to-use iSCSI SAN solutions for the masses.

"A central theme that we will be promoting at SNW is a customer's ability to unleash their network through 10 GbE technologies and other advancements in IP SANs," said Doug Rainbolt, vice president of Marketing for Intransa. "With the increased throughput delivered by 10 GbE IP SANs, end-users will be able to benefit from higher fan-in and faster SAN performance in Windows environments, resulting in overall cost savings and improved data protection. Our preview will demonstrate that Intransa is at an advanced stage in delivering new technologies and that Windows infrastructures are top-of-mind for Intransa."

The latest in Intransa's IP technology will be featured October 24-26, booth C28, at Storage Networking World, JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando.
