10 GbE Leader Taps Quantum's Tony Carrozza to Lead Sales

Cupertino, CA — December 14, 2006 — Neterion, Inc., the industry leader in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter market for server and storage environments, announced that it has appointed Tony Carrozza as the company's new Vice President of Sales. Carrozza brings more than 30 years of high technology sales and management experience to Neterion, where he will be responsible for the company's sales cycle, operations and customer support.

Before joining Neterion, Carrozza was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Quantum Corporation. In this role he was responsible for a 200 person sales and support organization that produced over $800M in revenue. At Quantum, he spent over 19 years in a variety of sales and management positions including Vice President Worldwide Sales for the DL Tape Group; Vice President of Worldwide Sales Strategy and Business Planning, Director of Central Region Sales and Director, Worldwide Compaq Account Team. Prior to joining Quantum in 1987, he spent 4 years at Iomega Corporation in channel and OEM sales management roles as the company grew from initial revenue to over $100M.
